Our neuroscience research integrates genetic, molecular, and physiological approaches to investigate the mechanisms underlying nervous system development and neurodegenerative diseases. Partnering with collaborators across units and across disciplines, our work paves the way for breakthroughs in scientific knowledge and clinical discoveries. Among the areas our neuroscience research touches include brain cancer biology and treatment, molecular and cellular mechanisms that underlie somatic pain, and defining new molecules to treat neurodegeneration.
